Photos of the vehicle, 3 men and the exact spot where Tolulope Arotile was knocked down


It is no longer news to Nigerians, Africans and the entire world that Nigerian first female combat-helicopter pilot, Tolulope Arotile was knocked down by a car and she died.

And of course, if you have been following the news of Tolulope Arotile sad death, you will probably be wondering what kind of vehicle was it that did this untold damage, and where exactly did the accident happen?

Nigerian Air Force via their official Facebook handle released some photos that answers the many questions of Nigerians and lovers of Tolulope Arotile across the nations of the earth.

The NAF has revealed the type of vehicle and the very spot where the accident practically occured.

Reports reaching Efogator Media has it that just last Friday, officers of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) officially handed over to the Nigeria Police the 3 men suspects who were involved in the death of late Flying Officer, Tolulope Arotile.

Also handed over to the police authorities was the very vehicle driven by the suspects which knocked down Tolulope Arotile and she died.

The vehicle in question is a KIA Seranto SUV, marked with Kaduna registration number AZ 478 MKA. The car was reportedly driven by Mr Nehemiah Adejoh, while the two other men are Mr Igbekele Folorunsho and Mr Festus Gbayegun were in the alongside Nehemiah.

When you take a closer look at the picture of the vehicle, you will see that that there is a bit of press-in damaged at the back; this shows that the car was on speed when it impacted on Tolulope Arotile.

You can also see some police officers who were at the NAF Base to take over suspects and the car at the exact spot where the accident happened taking notes along the suspects.

During the handing over of the suspects at the NAF Base Kaduna, the Commander 453 Base Services Group (453 BSG), Group Captain Hadi Ahmed, recalled that on 14 July, 2020 at about 4.30pm the vehicle driven by Mr Adejoh knocked down Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile when she was walking along Air Marshal Ibrahim Alfa Road in the NAF Base Kaduna, leading to her eventual death.

Recall that the three suspects involved in the accident were all former schoolmates of the late Tolulope Arotile at the Air Force Secondary School Kaduna.

According to their statements, the three men on their way to visit the wife of a serving senior officer residing in the Base before the accident occurred that killed Tolulope Arotile.

The Airforce Commander stated that the NAF would continue to cooperate with the Nigeria Police and provide all necessary support to enable it carry out proper investigation and prosecute the matter to its logical conclusion.

Following the handing over of the suspects, the Nigeria Police is expected to carry out further investigation and possible prosecution in line with the rule of laws.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have started sharing their mixed reactions towards the untimely death of Tolulope Arotile, some are calling on the Nigeria Police authorities to diligently prosecute the matter to ensure justice for the family of the late helicopter pilot; others are calling for the men to be forgiving and released since it was a case of an accident.
